Lincoln Park Zoo s new baby monkey still needs a name, and you can help pick it. Born on Sept. 24 to sire Oku and dam Nola, the little baby black-and-white colobus monkey is thriving and meeting important development milestones, the zoo said, and now he is now ready to be named. There are four name options, that the zoo says are all based on meaningful words from Swahili and other East African languages, that voters can choose from: Moshi (MO-shee), which means “smoke” in East African languages. It refers to the mist and clouds that shroud Mount Kilimanjaro, as well as a city in the foothills, the zoo said. Nuru (NOO-ru), which translates to name means “light” or “brightness” in East African languages. It represents hope and positivity, the zoo said. Ndogo (n-DOH-go), a Swahili word used to describe a small animal or person. Mbega (mm-BEH-geh), the word for black-and-white colobus monkey in Swahili. Voting, available here, closes at 11:49 p.m. on
